Here is a great travel trip:  when flying abroad and the fares are outrageous, look for carriers who offer intermediate stops at substantial savings.  I saved 47% on my airfare to Australia by stopping in Fiji on Air New Zealand.  Hence my quick stays in Fiji, coming and going from Australia. 

Fiji is a beautiful island with honeymoon energy, which is quite strange if you are single.  I am glad I visited, but I doubt I will return.  It really is all about the beach and being pampered, which is great but not my idea of an ideal vacation.  I was able to spend some time with the locals which I enjoyed.
