Sandwiched around our trip to Bhutan, my nephew Charles Peck and I visited Thailand, Hong Kong & Maccau.  Thailand is a beautiful country with lovely people.  The Imperial Palace is amazing, with some of the finest architecture in the world.  Bangkok was a blast; it is a city you want to stay up late and explore and it has some of the best street food to be found (first 12 photos).

Hong Kong was both fun and frenetic.  The best dim sum I have had.  It reminds me of New York in many ways (next 5 photos).

Maccau was less interesting and a bit of a disappointment.  I suspect that may change with the increase in gaming (last 4 photos).
